Always fortunate

While my husband and I are at the edge of our seats and will hang until Tuesday for our visas (and non rebookable, non refundable plane tickets and hotel accommodations), there are people in the Visayas region badly hit by Haiyan. Some of them haven’t even recovered from the 7.2 quake last month.

I’m lucky we have more than enough, and hopefully still generous like my family. I’m not going to help out to feel better but because everyone deserves to live better, and I’m more than comfortable now.

Still keeping in mind that Filipinos are weather and calamity resilient. That’s one of our incomparable competitive advantage.

Still praying for everyone’s safety and generosity in these hard times.

And of course the diplomatic actions of the Korean consuls 🙂
